Ron is the Chair of Stellaris PTE Ltd and is Executive Director responsible for Administration and Academic Operations at Stellaris.
His experience includes a career spanning three decades in teaching and tertiary education alongside experience outside the education sector in sectors such as merchant banking and industrial recycling.
Ron is the Deputy Chair of the Bay of Plenty District Health Board, Chair of SILC Charitable Trust and a director of TECT Holdings Ltd and a trustee of TECT. He is a former member of the Council of the University of Waikato.
In addition to being a Justice of the Peace (JP), Ron is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and a Professional Member of the New Zealand Association of Training and Development.
Ron is the author of “The New Director”which is a book aimed at helping aspiring professional directors achieve and build successful governance careers. He is a sought after speaker internationally and teaches on subjects relevant to governance and management. Ron is available to act as an independent director for suitable businesses and provides professional coaching for Directors and Senior Executives.

Senior New Zealander of the Year – Frances’s impact on New Zealand is undeniable, having dedicated her life to improving the lives of others in the world of business, education, women’s rights or fighting for social justice.
She has produced innovative solutions to difficult problems. These include establishing loan funds for disabled people to start a business, and another for disadvantaged women who were unable to receive assistance from the traditional banking system.
Frances has been a director on several larger organisations, as well as small community organisations and has an excellent practical understanding of the issues of governance in New Zealand. She is currently on the Board of Stellaris PTE Ltd and Stellaris Ltd.
Altaf is the Chief Executive Officer of Stellaris PTE Limited and Executive Director responsible for Marketing, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships.
He has a Bachelor of Engineering Industrial Electronics and a MBA in International Business. Altaf has over 15 years of experience in the education sector in New Zealand, including establishing new education institutes, designing, implementing and driving marketing strategies and campaigns.
His other key skills are programme development and education management. He has extensive experience in the ICT sector in both New Zealand and overseas.
Altaf is passionate about education and strongly believes it to be an enabler for individuals to achieve their life goals and aspirations while make effective contributions to the community and the economy.
Hon Richard Prebble is Stellaris’s Board Adviser and a valued member of our organisation.
He is a Former Member of Parliament, the Former leader of the ACT Party, a leading Minister in Lange/Douglas Labour government and the longest serving Member of Parliament in the house.
He was one of the architects of New Zealand’s biggest economic turnarounds and reformed the ports, railways, airways, energy, telecommunications and broadcasting industries.
He is a qualified Barrister & Solicitor and best selling author of ‘I’ve Been Thinking and 8 other books. He is the Publisher of “The Letter”, New Zealand’s largest e-mail newspaper.
